The county tournaments are the first round of the National Schools tournament. Entry to these tournaments is only open to schools who have paid their England Netball affiliation fee for the season. This requirement also applies to the district rounds.

Following the district rounds, the TOP TWO teams from each age group will progress to the county rounds. From here, the new top two teams will compete in the regional National Schools competition.
