A date for the 2023 performance academy trials has been announced today. Prospective athletes are invited to attend Cumbria’s open trials on Sunday 8th October at The Hirst Centre, Sedbergh.
Trials are open to athletes in U13 and U15 age groups, each with their own trial time. U13s will be playing from 09.30 to 11.15, and U15s from 11.30 to 13.15. Trials for both age groups will consist of skills and drills for the first 35 minutes followed by matchplay.
Athletes who are selected should be available for the entire county academy programme which sees players meet for training on eight Sundays between the end of October 2023 and April 2024. A full list of dates shall be provided to successful athletes.
